New Designers 2014
This weeks has been the begging of New Designers 2014. So far it's been a really good experience. Have seen some truly amazing work and has been very interesting to get the first insight into the textile industry. The feedback has been very helpful and look forward to what's to come after the show...

Hey there, I love your work! (picked up a cheeky business card at New Designers last thurs) your main sample is stunning, it must have taken ages! Was just wondering what your inspiration was for the collection?

Hey Emily! Thank you so much for your lovely comment! It did take a good week but it was worth it! We have a big big old textiles collection called vads at Uca Farnham so I had a chance to explore with a particular indian block print from the 18th century it was gorgeous so I thought it would be quite interesting to introduce that tradition into my own style of working (a lot of mark making). And the colours came from the holi festival which was really interesting too! Thanks again for your comment was very nice of you.
